These altered photo clipboards I made as graduation gifts for the "girls". The first one went to my son's (he graduated last year) girlfriend. The other 2 went to my neighbors on each side of me. I made up Rubber Maid baskets with a towel set, highlighters, pencils, pens and cute stickey notes. Put the photo clipboards in there with little silver stands.

ATC and TEW Workshops
WOW! I finished the ATC workshop. I'm excited because of all the new things I learned from it. Only a few more lessons in the TEW workshop. This was stamped on glossy with a couple different "coffee" stamps then cut into panels.
This card is called "Chasing Diamonds". I used a rubber "mat" from Rubber Nature Art then cut the stamped paper into diamond shapes.
This is my "Dream Box". I used 3 different colors of ink and did the DTB (direct-to-box!). Then stamped over that with my shell and word stamp. Painted the "legs" and "handle" with metallic blue acryllic paint. Did the tag same as the box, added fibers and small beads, and attached it to the lid.

ATCs
MARCH, APRIL, and MAY Swaps
Themes - Nature, Women/Mother's Day, Men/Father's Day
These are my VERY first attempts at ATCs. I did them for a swap that as a monthly theme. It has definately helped me to "step outside the comfort zone"! I'm having a lot of fun making these and look forward to each month coming up with the ideas for that month's theme. May's swap was a little bit of a stretch for since I don't have what I would really call "manly" stamps!
CLASSES
I made these as samples for an online class I'm going to teach for a group I belong to. It's called Frosted Embossing. Use black or dark cardstock. Stamp with Perfect Medium or Top Boss. Heat emboss a WHITE embossing powder (I used Detail White). At this point you have a choice of using either Perfect Pearls or markers. On these samples I used markers. Color over your embossing with your choice of color, let it sit for about 10 seconds then color over again. Take a paper towel and gently rub over your image. Some of the color will stay and some of the white will show through. "Just A Note" I used green on the branches and a brown on the trunk. Hard to tell but it really is brown! I just used green on "Dream" and for "Stars" is used a couple shades of blue.
ATC and TEW Workshops
This lesson required us to alter a tin or box. I chose to do both. For the tin I used an Altoid Tin. I sanded it down slightly then applied alcohol inks. I stamped the image over the inks. The box I painted the bottom black. The top is washi paper. I then put a row of black gathered ribbon around the bottom of the lid. I attached a metal leaf to the front and a brad on top with some wire and beads. Hard to see them but they are there!
These were fun to make. The lesson was called "Vintage Shoes". Since I didn't have a "vintage shoe" stamp my card became "Vintage Moos"!
PARCHMENT CRAFT/PERGAMANO/PAPER PIERCING
I created these Morning Glories for a challenge from a Pergamano group I belong to. I really liked this pattern so made these 2. Spring was done with a light shade of green vellum then a yellow background on a white card. I colored the flowers with colored pencils. Purple was done the same only I put a background paper behind it that was a floral with writing. Then mounted that to purple paper and a white card.

ATCLesson 16
This is my Accordian Book. I used bleach on black paper then stamped over some of the pages. I then used ribbon where the folds are. It was a lot of fun to make.
TEWCh4Ls1
I created this using a shadow stamp and masking tape. Just put the tape on the ink pad being used then put the inked tape onto your stamp (in this case I used a shadow stamp). I used 2 inks in this case.
