Christmas Cards '09

I decided I wanted to use a Christmas tree for this year. I got this one when I was at the Heirloom Pro Convention in Greenville, SC in September. This one is by Impression Obsession. I just love their stamps. I used different colored cardstock and papers. I used some paint chips that have little windows in them and put a little tree or snowflake in it. The paint chips all had the word "snow" or "silver" in it. I stamped the tree and embossed it. Went back a colored the garland with sparkly pens. Some of them I added a little snow flake at the top of the tree.

Christmas Card

This Christmas card was sent to a little boy who had been diagnosed with cancer. The doctors had done all they could and told his parents to go home and enjoy what time they had left. The celebrated Christmas in Nov. and he wanted to receive Christmas cards.

This years Christmas cards. The first picture I did DTP (glossy) with a wadded up paper towel with red and green inks. Then I added a little gold or silver ink. Stamped Santa in red and green on glossy. Layered both onto white cardstock. I stapled (in green) the Santa to the background. The next two cards I made using a "card" I bought last year at the after Christmas sale. I stamped the Santas onto Metallic paper then colored with pencils.
