These are my own home made ribbon boxes. I bought photo boxes and covered them with Japanese washi paper. Poked holes (kind of a pain) and secured them with large eyelets. Bought dowels that would fit through the ribbon holes and cut them to size. There you have it! Ask me if I'm doing this again? I don't think so.:<)!

MINI BOOKS
These were a lot of fun to make. I used my Zutter to bind them. For both, I used the coin sized envelopes. The first one I cut the flaps off. Covered front and back with coordinating papers. Made tags to go in the envelopes. I haven't finished the tags to go into the envelopes yet. The second one is pretty much the same except I didn't cut the flaps off. I didn't put anything in the window yet because I haven't decided what will go in the envelopes. I thought the smaller one might be fun for the kids to do at church.
COTM - By The Sea theme
Gosh I certainly feel like I've been away for such a long time but I haven't. Been having "technical" difficulties. It seems my digital camera decided to just stop working. Couldn't do anything with it. So figured it would be cheaper to get a new one so I did. Then had to get used to how it worked. Finally have that pretty much figured out......then.....the printer broke! Decided to just buy a new one of those. Had to get used to that one. In the meantime I HAVE been creating! So let's see what I've been up to in my little "stamping soiree"!
I'll start with March's COTM theme of "By The Sea". Pretty basic stamping blue on white and attaching to blue cardstock punched with a "corner adorner". Those a way cool. Enjoyed this one so much went a bought another one! Attached it to white cardstock, colored in the boats with brown pencil. Added the rope and done. Hope my swap partner like it!
