ART Doodle Swap

Another swap I was a part of was doing an ATC. The theme was "doodle" art (also might be called Zentangles) and could be black/white or color. I figured with Valentines coming up I'd do something for that.

These are my January ATCs for the swap I'm in. The theme was Valentines (for February). I don't have much in the way of Valentine "stuff" so it was a bit of a challenge. But don't we just love a challenge!

Welcome Wagon

Three more welcome cards that was able to complete. The 2 outside cards were done with alcohol inks and a little bit dark. There really is a tree stamped in the middle of the green one!

Welcome Wagon

I had a chance to actually make some cards today. These are for one of the groups I'm in. We send "welcome" cards to the newest members who join. Two down and 3 to go! Well, 2 1/2 anyway because I can't quite decide on the background paper. The girl what just stamped on cream cardstock and mounted on thre green. The background behind her is actually a napkin from doing the "napkin technique". The tree is done on glossy cardstock, Krylon pen, and alcohol inks. Can't tell but there really is a tree there!

COTM - Cocktail Theme

One of the groups I belong to is doing a COTM swap. The theme that was chosen was "Cocktail Time". This is what my "swap partner" is going to receive. The background is just brayered on white cardstock. First in one direction then in the other direction. Stamped the beach scene in black. Added the embellishments. The rest of the phrase "somewhere" in on the inside.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well, I'm a little late with that considering it's the middle of January! It usually takes me a couple weeks to get back in the groove of things. Not to mention putting everything away from the holidays. Also my muse took a vacation and "forgot" to tell me! She's back now. I had to do a little rearranging in the craft room to make room for my "new" Cuttlebug that I received for Christmas. Do you think I've had time yet to play? NoooOOOoooo! Now that things seem to be back in order I'm ready to go! Happy crafting everyone and I will be having some projects soon!
